Asahi.com has put up the English-language version of the article I highlighted yesterday on Japan-U.S. talks examining an upgrade in joint operations for contingencies on and around the Korean Peninsula.
Yomiuri Online has the story as well, though the editors are pitching the talks as a chance to revise and expand plans for the evacuation of Japanese and U.S. nationals in the event of a rise in tensions on the Peninsula.
The Yomiuri Shimbun has printed on page 3 of this morning's paper its own version of the story The Asahi Shimbun broke yesterday.
