Yesterday at a press conference, the Japan Coast Guard released the below record of the incursions of Chinese constabulary forces into the territorial waters generated by the Senkaku Islands since September 14, the date when the Government of Japan completed the purchase of three of the islands from their private owner.
The first two columns are the dates; the third column is the number of ships entering the territorial waters from the China Maritime Surveillance force; the fourth column is the number of ships from the Fisheries Law Enforcement Command. (Link - J)
These figures do not include the incidents of maritime law enforcement activities of the two forces inside the Exclusive Economic Zone around the Senkakus, where they have no writ.
