Let us remember that the electoral system is designed to deliver victory to the Liberal Democratic Party even if the LDP is massively unpopular.
We should not be surprised if it does.
So go out there and surprise us, people.

If the system would favour the LDP, why haven't they won the last election or at least a share of seats overproportional to their share of votes?
In 2009 they got almost 72% of DPJ's votes but received just slightly over a third of DPJ's number of seats.
What you are grumbling about is that the electoral system favour's whoever get's a plurality of votes, but that's the case in roughly half of all democracies of the world.
