A question in passing:
Prime Minister Abe Shinzō has committed himself to a Cabinet reshuffle on August 27.
Given his current rather low personal popularity ratings, the unlikelihood that a ministerial position in the next Cabinet will bring budgetary or regulatory benefits (let us call it the Matsuoka-Akagi Effect) and the PM's history of not listening to those who offer him sound advice, who would want to serve in his reshuffled Cabinet, aside from Koike Yuriko, of course ? (Amaterasu bless her, Koike-san will work with anyone.)
Seriously, who of the big guns -- or even medium sized guns -- would want to be Abe's nominal subordinate?
