Just noting, in case it's not obvious from the post itself, that the idea should be taken with all the gravity and seriousness any random blog post on the net deserves.
I was mostly amused by the surface similarity of behaviour between LDP on one hand, and prefrontal patients being tested on the WCST on the other. So I took it up as a rhetorical crutch to consider the idea of an ossified, self-reinforced decision-making process as a partial explanation of the sometimes exceedingly strange behaviour of the party.
