Name that sensei

See if you can guess the author of this quote, taken from an Asahi Shimbun article on the Democratic Party of Japan's young adult and middle-aged candidates.

"It is simply not true that they are utterly charmless. That they are fresh is good, as is the fact that a lot of them are from the elite, like bureaucrats, lawyers and the top-ranked companies.
